Hello My Name Is...
Scott Alexander

I am a 32 year veteran educator. I have a BA in Early Childhood from Catawba College, in Salisbury, NC. I have a M.Ed. in Elementary Administration from Winthrop University, in Rock Hill, SC.
I have worked in 3 states (SC, NC, TX) and 8 school districts. I have taught or worked in every grade level from PK-4 ESL to College Education. I am currently a Teaching Associate at Coastal Carolina University at the Spadoni College of Education. I teach Early Literacy, Emergent Literacy, Language Acquisition for LD, and Intro to Teaching.
My office is at The Myrtle Beach Family Learning Center. I am responsible for the SC Virtual School for Adult Ed, HSAP Exit Exam, End of Course Testing, GED Online, and the design of the website you are visiting.
As a former Director of Adult Education in Marion County and a Coordinator of Literacy at Poynor Adult Center in Florence, SC, I found that working with adults, who are returning to their education after a delay, is very rewarding.
Welcome to the WONDERFUL WORLD OF ADULT EDUCATION!
